Mars + Jupiter + South Node in Leo

The window

Jupiter entered Leo on June 30, 2026. Mars followed on September 28. The South Node is already in Leo, with the North Node in Aquarius. The loudest stretch runs from late September through mid-November, peaking when Mars meets Jupiter around November 15–16, 2026, near 25–26 degrees of Leo.

On the day the video went up, October 6, the Moon was also sitting with Jupiter and the South Node. Candace uses that as a preview of the mood ahead: emotional, visible, and a little too much.

She splits the story into two acts.

The first act is November. Mars and Jupiter are direct. The South Node is retrograde, but the other two are not, so the energy is fast, public, and hard to miss. Announcements, credit fights, bold launches, and “I am done playing this role” moments all fit here.

The second act is the review. Mars stations retrograde on January 10, 2027, in Virgo, after entering its shadow around November 5 near 20 degrees of Leo, the degree of the August 2026 Leo eclipse. Jupiter stations retrograde on December 13, 2026, and goes direct again on April 12, 2027. Spring is when impulsive November choices get walked back, renegotiated, or confirmed.

Her line for the whole transit is simple. The gift is growth after you drop what no longer fits. The trap is launching from ego instead of purpose.

What each planet is doing

Leo is the sign of the stage: pride, children, romance, creative work, leadership, and the need to be seen. Three different planets are working that stage at once.

Jupiter expands. In Leo that can look like a bigger title, a brighter creative opening, a romance that feels cinematic, or a plan that sounds almost too good. It can also mean overdoing it. Marie notes Jupiter’s harder contacts this year, including a square to Chiron and an opposition to Pluto, so growth comes with pressure, not a free pass.

Mars pushes. It wants a visible move, a fight for credit, a heroic act. It has already opposed Pluto in Aquarius, which she reads as ego bruises and power struggles, personal and public. With Venus and Mercury retrograde in Scorpio in the background, some of what gets exposed now was already hidden.

The South Node subtracts. In evolutionary astrology it is the old comfort zone: the role you know how to play, the applause you know how to earn. In Leo, the outdated pattern is pride, performance, and creative identity used as armor. The North Node in Aquarius points the other way, toward the group, the system, and a future that is less about being the star.

She also pulls in an older reading of the South Node as the dragon’s tail, a place that decreases and detaches. Jupiter conjunct the South Node is not automatic luck. In the tradition she cites, including William Lilly, it tests status. You can gain, and you can also be asked to put something down.

Two pictures for the degrees

Marie reads the Sabian symbols for the degrees this story keeps touching.

At 21 degrees of Leo, near the August eclipse degree that Mars reactivates, the image is intoxicated chickens. The theme is sensation, and the warning is artificial stimulation: hype, applause, a plan that feels alive because everyone is loud. The useful side is learning to make something out of a limit instead of waiting for perfect conditions.

At 26 degrees of Leo, the degree of the November conjunction, the image is a rainbow. The keyword is significance. The theme is hope, and the picture is people cooperating toward a goal that lasts longer than one performance. That is the better use of the boom: not a bigger spotlight, a clearer aim.

What she is asking you to release

Before the sign section, the question she keeps returning to is practical. What role have you been playing since the August eclipse? Leader, fixer, the one with the idea, the one who has to be seen doing it. If that role still feels alive, this transit can enlarge it. If it feels exhausting, Mars and Jupiter will make the exhaustion louder before they make it optional.

Her closing advice matches the two-act structure. Wherever Leo sits in your chart gets a spotlight between now and November. If it is draining, it may need to go. Do not treat a November decision as finished. Knee-jerk cuts, rage quits, and permanent rebrands are the moves she wants you to sleep on until the retrogrades have had their say.

Read the notes below for your Sun, Moon, and rising. The house Leo occupies in your chart is the room where this plays out.

All 12 signs

Aries. Leo falls in the 5th house: creativity, children, romance, and risk. The fun is real. So is the hangover from too much party, too much gamble, or a child or project becoming the whole story. Build the process now. Commitments are under review closer to spring 2027.

Taurus. This is the 4th house, home and family. One honest conversation beats a dramatic cutoff. A move or a family change may be coming either way. Plan the bigger step for after spring 2027 rather than forcing it in November.

Gemini. The 3rd house covers talk, siblings, neighbors, cars, and devices. Draft the message before you send it. This is a poor window for a new phone or computer, and a good one for not driving while heated. Burnout here looks like overheating cars and interrupted plans, especially around groups.

Cancer. The 2nd house is money, pricing, and what you own. Check the account before you announce the win. Impulse spending, and impulse consuming, is the leak. Payments can lag even when you are working hard. She expects the financial feeling to settle by spring.

Leo. This is on the Ascendant and the body: name, face, hair, presence. The mood is a roller coaster, with real pressure to prove you can hold the crown. Skip the permanent rebrand before April 2027. Watch inflammation, the back, cuts, and burns. Healing here is physical and old-family patterning at once.

Virgo. Leo is in the 12th, so a lot of this is off the record: dreams, recovery, private dissatisfaction in money or intimacy. A retreat, a temple, or time alone does more than a public fix. What is moving behind the scenes gets clearer by summer 2027, when Jupiter enters Virgo.

Libra. The 11th house is friends, audiences, and the old network. You can be sought after and still drained. Keep at least one friendship that is not a transaction, and notice who gains when you perform. Reconnections show up in cycles through spring. Comparison is the trap.

Scorpio. This hits the 10th house, career and reputation. Promotions and status changes are possible, including employee to founder, or a shift tied to children or marriage. The question is cost. A rage quit in November can look different when Mars retrogrades. She points to April 2027 for a cleaner decision.

Sagittarius. Jupiter is your ruler, so this one is personal. Leo is the 9th house: travel, study, belief, legal matters, publishing. Mid-November is a bad time to travel, especially with children. Delays, airport snags, and outdated beliefs are the bumps. Backup plans help. Direction clarifies in spring.

Capricorn. The 8th house is shared money, debt, tax, inheritance, and intimacy. Boom-and-bust is the pattern, including messy credit or insurance issues. Tackle the debt you have rather than cosigning a new one. Inheritance and sibling paperwork want facts, not heat. A more sustainable setup lines up when this trines Saturn in spring.

Aquarius. Leo falls in the 7th house: partners, clients, and open rivals. It is not your job to manage their image. Some people will crash in public. Hold your own position, and notice what they do when no one is watching. If someone cannot show up, November can separate you. Spring may bring a return. It does not guarantee the bond was solid.

Pisces. Jupiter is your traditional ruler, meeting Mars and the South Node in your 6th house of work, health, and routine. The refrain is how much is too much. Bosses may test loyalty. The body answers with digestion, infection, or the back if output outruns rest. Pets, especially cats, belong in the same review. The retrograde shadow moves into Virgo and your 7th house, so work strain and relationship strain get tangled. Health is the priority, not another role.

How to use the month

Find Leo in your chart and name the role you have been playing there. If the November move still makes sense when the applause is gone, it is probably yours. If it only makes sense because Jupiter made it sound impressive, wait for the second act.
